Member recognition ceremonies

Recognition ceremonies are held across the globe each year to acknowledge members at all stages of their career. In addition to celebrating new CPAs, we also recognise members reaching significant milestones – including up to 80 years of membership. In 2024, over 50 of these ceremonies have been held across 12 countries.

CFO Connect Symposium in Singapore

In July, our Singapore Division held its 12th CFO Connect Symposium, themed “Navigating the complex new world order”. We had 201 CFOs, and finance and accounting professionals attend, including some CPA Australia members from outside of Singapore. Speakers discussed key topics such as leadership transitions, AI, and clean energy.

First Dinner in Riyadh

We had an eventful May in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The team, together with John Curtin Distinguished Professor Dale Pinto FCPA, President and Chair of the Board of CPA Australia, and Rowena Buddee, Chief Member Experience Officer of CPA Australia, hosted our first informal dinner for members based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
