Understand your starting point
Once you've explored the eligibility requirements, it's time to understand your most suitable starting point. Exploring employer support
Undertaking the CPA Program is a significant commitment. Before you start, you should discuss with your employer what support might be available. In many cases, employers will support you with a contribution to membership and/or enrolment fees or may be able to offer study leave or projects, rotations and additional opportunities to help meet your experience component of the CPA Program.
Other ways to get financial support
CPA Australia provides some scholarships and subsidies to assist certain members in gaining the CPA designation. You can explore the categories below to find out more information.
What happens after you apply?
We'll contact you with an assessment outcome which will confirm your eligibility and starting point. If there are any gaps in foundational knowledge, this might involve enrolling in foundation exams before you can commence the CPA Program. However, if your application doesn't reveal any foundational knowledge gaps, you might be ready to become an associate member and enroll in your first CPA Program subject. Once you have enrolled in the first subject, you can work towards completing the CPA Program.
