On 15 May 2024, the Disciplinary Tribunal found Mr Vanda Gould breached CPA Australia’s Constitution of 14 May 2019:
- Article 39(a)(ii)(F) when he became “the subject of an adverse finding that has not been overturned on appeal in relation to the Member’s conduct, competence or recognition by any Court, professional body, statutory or other regulatory authority in any jurisdiction” with respect to the decision of Wilson SC DCJ on 17 December 2020 in The Queen v Gould [2020] NSWDC 831.
Mr Gould attended the Disciplinary Tribunal hearing and admitted the complaint.
Penalty and Costs:
The Disciplinary Tribunal found the Complaint sustained and imposed the following penalties:
- Forfeiture of membership, not eligible for readmission.
Mr Gould was ordered to pay CPA Australia’s costs of $15,790.50.
