On 23 April 2024, the Disciplinary Tribunal found Mr Nicholas Boak breached CPA Australia’s 11 May 2022 Constitution (the Constitution):
- Article 36(a) when he “committed, participated in or been involved with an Adverse Event” as defined in Article 76(d)(ii) of the Constitution, in that he “engaged in conduct which is derogatory to, or not in the best interests of the Company or its Members” that gave rise to his being the subject of a Forensic Order (Mental Health) for a period of 10 years.
Mr Boak attended the Disciplinary Tribunal Hearing and admitted the Complaint.
Penalty and Costs:
The Disciplinary Tribunal found the Complaint sustained and imposed the following penalty:
- Forfeiture of membership; not eligible for readmission
As the Complaint was sustained Mr Boak was ordered to pay CPA Australia’s costs of $10,368.30.
