- Article 36(a), in that she “committed, participated in or been involved with an Adverse Event” as defined in Article 76(d)(ii) as having “engaged in conduct which is derogatory to, or not in the best interests of, the Company or its Members” with respect to her engaging in academic misconduct during a Contemporary Business Issues exam by using an electronic device and a second monitor.
Miss Diep Anh Nguyen attended the Disciplinary Tribunal Hearing and admitted the complaints.
The Disciplinary Tribunal found the Complaints sustained and imposed the following penalties:
- Forfeiture of membership for a period of two years.
- A fail to be recorded against her Financial Reporting exam sat Semester 2 2022.
Complaint 2:
- Forfeiture of membership for a period of two years to be served concurrently with Complaint 1.
- A fail to be recorded against her Contemporary Business Issues exam sat Semester 2 2022.
The Member was ordered to pay a contribution to CPA Australia’s costs of $2,686.00
