Penalty and Costs:
The Disciplinary Tribunal found the Complaint sustained and imposed the following penalties:
- suspension from membership for a period of 2 years from the hearing date (17 May 2024)
- surrender of the Member’s CPA Australia Public Practice Certificate within 30 days of the hearing, or such time as allowed by the General Manager Professional Conduct.
The Disciplinary Tribunal took into consideration exceptional circumstances and determined to not publish the Member’s name.
