Mr Vaezi attended the Disciplinary Tribunal Hearing and admitted Complaint 1 in part and admitted Complaint 2 in its entirety.
Penalty and costs:
The Disciplinary Tribunal found the Complaints sustained and imposed the following penalties:
Complaint 1
- admonishment
- a fine of $500
- successfully complete the Meeting ASIC Requirements course conducted by the Governance Institute of Australia to the satisfaction of the GMPC by 30 June 2022.
Complaint 2
- admonishment
- a fine of $500
- successfully complete the Fundamentals of Business Law module of the CPA Program to the satisfaction of the GMPC by 31 December 2022.
The Member was ordered to pay CPA Australia’s costs of $2,547.33.
