“Each Member undertaking Continuing Professional Development must:- maintain a record of the precise nature of him or her Continuing Professional Development, including date, time expended and topics covered;…
- produce such record to an officer of CPA Australia for inspection upon request.”
Mr Shuin did not attend the One Person Tribunal Hearing and denial of the Complaint were entered on his behalf.
Penalty and costs
The One Person Tribunal found the Complaint sustained and imposed the following penalties:
- suspension of membership
- complete his online CPD diary for the 2018 - 2020 triennium by 15 January 2021.
If Mr Shuin meets the requirements of the tribunal, his suspension will be lifted; if not, his membership will be forfeited.
Mr Shuin was ordered to pay CPA Australia's costs of $4592.56 HKD.
