- "been the subject of an adverse finding that has not been overturned on appeal in relation to the Member's conduct, competence or recognition by any Court, professional body, statutory or other regulatory authority in any jurisdiction" in respect of the decision and orders of the Companies Auditors and Liquidators Disciplinary Board (CALDB) dated 11 May 2016 which cancelled his registration as a liquidator and which was affirmed by the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) on 19 April 2018.
Mr Joubert attended the Tribunal and admitted the complaint.
Penalty and costs
The Disciplinary Tribunal found the Complaints sustained and imposed the following penalty:
- forfeiture of membership.
In addition, the Tribunal imposed the following condition:
- not eligible for readmission until 10 April 2020.
Mr Joubert was ordered to pay CPA Australia’s costs of $8771.37.
