On 28 February 2019 the Disciplinary Tribunal found Mr Neville Kendrick breached Article 39(a)(ii)E of the Constitution in that he became insolvent by way of a Debtor’s Petition that was entered onto the National Personal Insolvency Index with the Australian Financial Security Authority.

Mr Kendrick attended the Disciplinary Tribunal Hearing and admitted the Complaint.

Penalty and costs

The Disciplinary Tribunal found the Complaint sustained and imposed the following penalty:

• forfeiture of Membership for the period of his bankruptcy
• prior to any application for readmission, the Member must satisfactorily complete the “Ethics and Governance” Segment of the CPA Program or its equivalent at the time.

Mr Kendrick was ordered to pay CPA Australia’s costs of $2957.60.
