• Article 39(a)(iii)B of the Constitution in that she was Closely Associated with a Practice Entity which had become Insolvent within the prior two years

Miss Dawson-Rennie attended the Disciplinary Tribunal Hearing and admitted the Complaint.

Penalty and costs

The Disciplinary Tribunal found the Complaint sustained and imposed the following penalty:

• Forfeiture of Membership.

The Disciplinary Tribunal imposed the following conditions upon Miss Dawson-Rennie, in that prior to any application for readmission she must:

• provide evidence of full payment of the Super Guarantee debt to the satisfaction of the General Manager Professional Conduct
• successfully complete the Ethics and Governance segment of the CPA Program or its equivalent at the time
• successfully complete a compliant Quality Review as a non-member at her own cost.

Miss Dawson-Rennie was ordered to pay CPA Australia’s costs of AU$576.98.
