On 14 September 2017, the Disciplinary Tribunal found Ms (Maree) Janet Godford breached:

• By-Law 9.5(b) in failing to successfully complete a periodic Quality Review
• By-Law 5.2(a)(ii) in failing to provide a satisfactory explanation in writing including documents in support to Professional Conduct in response to a Complaint about her.

Ms Godford did not attend the Disciplinary Tribunal Hearing.

Penalty and costs

The Disciplinary Tribunal found the Complaints sustained and imposed the following penalties:

• by 27 October 2017 Ms Godford must provide her Risk Management documentation to CPA Australia and meet all other Quality Review requirements within prescribed time frames, a failure to comply to result in forfeiture of Membership
• if Ms Godford’s Membership is forfeited as a result of the above, prior to any application for readmission she must first successfully complete a compliant Quality Review as a non-member at her own cost
• in relation to failing to respond to Professional Conduct:
  • a severe reprimand
  • a fine of $1000, failure to pay by the due date to result in forfeiture of Membership.

Ms Godford was ordered to pay costs of $832.03.
