On 14 April 2016 the Disciplinary Tribunal found a Member breached Article 39(a)(ii)B.2) of the Constitution on two occasions in that:

• Before taking a CPA Program professional level exam, the Member posted exam material on Facebook
• After taking the exam, the Member posted on Facebook case study  information specifically taken from the exam,

contrary to CPA Australia's 'Rules and regulations' concerning exams.

The Member attended the Disciplinary Tribunal Hearing and denied the Complaints.

Penalty and costs

The Disciplinary Tribunal found the Complaints sustained and imposed the following penalties:

Suspension of Membership until 31 December 2016

That a fail be recorded against that exam.

The Member was also ordered to pay CPA Australia's costs of $RM2,688.01.

The Disciplinary Tribunal took into account exceptional circumstances and ordered that the Member’s name be withheld from publication.
