Penalty and costs
The Disciplinary Tribunal found the Complaints sustained.
The Disciplinary Tribunal took into account that Mr Tyrrell had repaid the monies almost immediately and imposed the following penalties:
- forfeiture of Membership for three years
- prior to any application for readmission, Mr Tyrrell must first complete the Practice Management Program, including the distance learning and residential components.
Mr Tyrrell was also ordered to pay CPA Australia’s cost of $777.65.
