On 20 May 2015 the Disciplinary Tribunal found Mr Djason Ng breached Article 39(a)(ii)F of the Constitution, in that he was the subject of an adverse finding that had not been overturned on appeal, in respect of a decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) that Mr Ng committed an act amounting to “unprofessional conduct” in failing to provide a Quality Review Questionnaire despite several requests of him.

The Disciplinary Committee of the MIA ordered Mr Ng to pay a fine of RM1,000 and costs.

Mr Ng attended the Disciplinary Tribunal Hearing and admitted the Complaint.

The Disciplinary Tribunal found the Complaint sustained and imposed the penalty of an admonishment:

Mr Ng was ordered to pay CPA Australia’s costs of AUD$613.64.
