On 25 May 2015 the Disciplinary Tribunal found Mr Choon Kee (Eddy) Lim breached:

• Article 39(a)(ii)E of the Constitution in that he was made bankrupt on 6 February 2014
• Article 39(a)(ii)F of the Constitution in that Mr Lim was the subject of an adverse finding that has not been overturned on appeal in respect of a decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants dated 21 October 2014, in which the Institute suspended Mr Lim’s membership for the period of his bankruptcy.

Mr Lim did not attend the Disciplinary Tribunal Hearing.

Penalty and costs 

The Disciplinary Tribunal found the Complaints sustained and imposed the following penalties:

• forfeiture of Membership for the period of Mr Lim’s bankruptcy
• prior to any application for readmission to Membership Mr Lim must first:
  • successfully complete the Ethics & Governance segment of the CPA Program
  • pay CPA Australia’s costs of AUD$673.50.
