Penalty and costs

The Disciplinary Tribunal determined that prior to any application for readmission to Membership Mr Morris must first:
- provide a written explanation and documents in support to the satisfaction of the General Manager Professional Conduct in response to the two complaints
- provide proof to the satisfaction of the General Manager Professional Conduct that all client documents have been returned to them
- be re-reregistered by the Tax Practitioners Board
- if offering Public Accounting Services, have obtained a CPA Australia Public Practice Certificate
- successfully complete the Reporting and Professional Practice segment of the CPA Program (or its equivalent)
- have paid all outstanding costs, fees and subscriptions.
Mr Morris was also ordered to pay costs of $727.60 and $678.30.
