On 12 March 2014 the Disciplinary Tribunal found Mr Leung Yiu Chung (Chris) was ‘the subject of an adverse finding that has not been overturned on appeal in relation to the Member's conduct, competence or recognition by any Court, professional body, statutory or other regulatory authority in any jurisdiction’ in respect of a Decision and Order of a Disciplinary Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) on 8 May 2013.

The Disciplinary Committee of HKICPA found Mr Leung had permitted the unsolicited direct mailing of promotional materials by a company and represented that it provided audit services when it was not authorised to do so.

HKICPA reprimanded Mr Leung and ordered he pay a proportion of $HK22,900 in costs.

At the Disciplinary Tribunal Hearing Mr Leung attended and admitted the complaint.

Mr Bond attended the Disciplinary Tribunal Hearing and admitted the Complaint.

Penalty and costs 

The Disciplinary Tribunal imposed the penalty of an admonishment.

The Tribunal also ordered Mr Leung pay costs of $621.56.
