On 7 August 2013 the Disciplinary Tribunal found Mr Tee Guan Pian breached Article 39(a)(ii)F of the Constitution in that he was "the subject of an adverse finding that has not been overturned on appeal in relation to the Member's conduct, competence or recognition by any Court, professional body, statutory or other regulatory authority in any jurisdiction" in respect of a decision of the Securities Commission Malaysia Audit Oversight Board dated 12 July 2012.

The Audit Oversight Board reprimanded Mr Tee.

Mr Tee attended the Disciplinary Tribunal Hearing and denied the breach.

Penalty and Costs

The Disciplinary Tribunal found the complaint sustained and imposed the penalty of an admonishment.

Mr Tee was ordered to pay costs of RM1411.
