How to update your details

The update your details service allows members and registered users of CPA Australia's website to change their personal details online.

There are a number of ways that you can change your personal details to ensure you receive information that is tailored and targeted to your requirements.

  • update your contact details: update your contact and address details.
  • update your career profile: update your employment details, the memberships and licenses you hold, and your professional interests.
  • update your communication profile: update the newsletters and other material received from CPA Australia, including event notifications.
  • change your password: change the password you use to login to the website.

Update your contact details

  1. Go to Manage my membership page. If you are prompted to login, do so.
  2. Once you have logged in, click on the Update my profile link.
  3. Click on the Update your contact details link. 
  4. Edit the required information and click Submit.

Ensure you provide at least one address, one phone number and a valid email address. To change your name on our records, please contact your nearest office for instruction.

Update your career profile

  1. Go to Manage my membership page. If you are prompted to login, do so.
  2. Once you have logged in, click on the Update my profile link.
  3. Click on the Update your career profile link. 
  4. Edit the required information and click Submit.

Ensure you only select four professional interests.

Update your communication preferences

  1. Go to Manage my membership page. If you are prompted to login, do so.
  2. Once you have logged in, click on the Update my profile link.
  3. Click on the Update your communication preferences link.
  4. Edit the required information and click Submit.

Update your public practice profile

This option is only available to members who hold a Public Practice Certificate.

  1. Go to Manage my membership page. If you are prompted to login, do so.
  2. Once you have logged in, click on the Update my profile link. 
  3. Click on the Update your public practice profile link.
  4. Edit the required information and click Submit.

Please ensure your fee income totals 100 per cent and that you have read and agreed to the quality control compliance, professional indemnity insurance and terms of use requirements.

To change your practice type, contact your nearest office.

Change your password

  1. Go to Manage my membership page. If you are prompted to login, do so.
  2. Once you have logged in, click on the Update my profile link.
  3. Click on the Change your password link.
  4. Enter your current and new password and confirm your new password and click Submit.
