CPA Australia is one of the world’s largest professional accounting bodies with a global membership of more than 174,000 members (as at 31 December 2024) working in more than 100 countries and regions around the world.
Our core services to members include the provision of education, technical support and advocacy. CPA Australia employees and members work together with local and international bodies to promote excellence, enterprise and integrity and represent the views and concerns of the profession to governments, regulators, industries, academia, and the general public.
About CPA Australia's Board
CPA Australia’s Board of Directors consists of up to 10 directors with at least two directors being non-members. The Board currently comprises eight member directors and two non-member directors.
In 2025, three serving member directors will reach the end of their current terms.
About the role
CPA Australia is now seeking up to three suitably qualified candidates to join the Board for a three-year term. All terms will commence on 1 October 2025.
Candidates should:
- be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of corporate governance and of directors’ duties and responsibilities
- possess proven leadership skills, be analytically minded and solutions focussed
- have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- display the highest levels of integrity, professional standards and ethical conduct, and be aligned with the culture and values of CPA Australia as set out in the CPA Australia Way
Prior board experience is preferred.
